Brief description of the project:
The project aimed to develop the communication means capable of facilitating the integration of physically disabled young people in the community(society) and to ensure equal chances through the creation, development and distribution of a dynamic, informative magazine edited trimestrially for and with the help of physically disabled young people. The magazine contains information adapted to the specific needs of disabled children/young people, articles, interviews realized by and with disabled children/young people, events, useful legislation and other relevant information. The articles written by disabled young people constitute a positive example of exemplar involvement/activity, for other persons with special needs and provide a positive image of those that, despite the adversity they encountered due to architectural barriers, have managed to present themselves as important resource-persons in their community.
The Informative Bulletin was distributed to all the members of ASCHF-R as well as to other young persons, through the 8 branches of ASCHF-R from the country and through other NGO's and active institutions dealing with child protection.
